If you do not have such authority, you must not use the Service on that person's or organisation's behalf.
These Terms apply whether you access House of Weddings through a computer, mobile device, browser, application, API, embedded feature, link, or any other method.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old to create or maintain an Account or otherwise use House of Weddings in a manner that requires registration.
By creating an Account, you confirm that:
you are at least 18 years old;
the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete;
you are legally capable of entering into this Agreement; and
you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
We may refuse registration or restrict access where we reasonably believe these requirements have not been satisfied.
4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Account credentials.
You must not:
share your password unnecessarily;
permit unauthorised persons to access your Account;
use another person's Account without permission;
impersonate another person;
provide false registration information;
attempt to circumvent account-security controls; or
permit another person to use your Account in violation of these Terms.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your Account unless you can demonstrate that the activity occurred without your authorisation and through no fault or negligence on your part.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your Account has been compromised.
Where appropriate, we may require additional identity, telephone, email, OTP, payment, or security verification before allowing access to certain features or transactions.
5. WEDDING CREATION AND ADMINISTRATION
House of Weddings allows authorised users to create and manage Wedding Hubs.
A Wedding may contain information including:
names of the couple;
wedding date;
venue;
wedding story;
photographs;
videos;
wedding schedule;
dress code;
maps and location information;
contact information;
social-media links;
menus;
RSVP information;
gift information;
registry information; and
other wedding-related information supported by the Service.
A Wedding may have multiple authorised administrators, including members of the couple.
Each administrator is responsible for actions taken using the permissions granted to that administrator.
If multiple people administer the same Wedding, House of Weddings is not responsible for disputes between those administrators concerning ownership, control, editing, publication, deletion, payments, Gifts, or other matters.
House of Weddings may rely on instructions received from an authorised administrator unless there is a reasonable basis to believe that the instruction is fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorised.
6. WEDDING CONTENT AND PUBLICATION
Wedding content may remain private or unpublished while being prepared.
A Wedding may become accessible to Guests and other intended viewers once an authorised administrator publishes it through the Service.
You are responsible for reviewing your Wedding before publication and ensuring that all published information is accurate and appropriate.
House of Weddings does not guarantee that user-submitted Wedding information will be accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
House of Weddings may modify, format, compress, resize, convert, store, reproduce, or technically process Wedding content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
7. WEDDING DISPLAY AND MARKETING
By creating and publishing a Wedding, you acknowledge that information and content associated with the Wedding may be displayed through House of Weddings.
Subject to applicable privacy law and rights that cannot legally be waived, you grant House of Weddings a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically process content submitted to the Service for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and promoting House of Weddings.
House of Weddings may use selected Wedding pages, designs, screenshots, photographs, stories, testimonials, and other publicly available Wedding content for promotional, marketing, portfolio, demonstration, and advertising purposes.
Where required by applicable law, House of Weddings will obtain any additional consent necessary for a particular marketing use.
8. USER CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You retain ownership of intellectual-property rights that you already own in content that you upload or submit to House of Weddings.
You represent and warrant that:
you own the content or have sufficient rights and permissions to use it;
your content does not infringe another person's intellectual-property rights;
your content does not unlawfully disclose another person's private information;
your content does not violate applicable law; and
your submission of the content does not breach an agreement with another person.
You must not upload content that you do not have the legal right to use.
House of Weddings may remove, restrict, or disable access to content that it reasonably believes violates these Terms, applicable law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, security requirements, or the integrity of the Service.
9. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL-PROPERTY COMPLAINTS
If you believe that content available through House of Weddings infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, you may contact us at:
support@houseofweddings.online
Your complaint should identify the relevant content, explain the claimed infringement, and provide sufficient information for us to investigate.
We may remove or restrict disputed content while investigating a complaint.
We may terminate Accounts of users who repeatedly engage in serious or persistent intellectual-property infringement.
10. RSVP AND GUEST MANAGEMENT
House of Weddings provides tools for couples to manage guest lists and RSVP information.
Couples may be able to collect information from Guests including names, contact details, attendance information, preferences, and other event-related information.
The Couple or Wedding administrator is responsible for ensuring that information collected from Guests is used appropriately and lawfully.
House of Weddings may process Guest information on behalf of the relevant Wedding administrator in order to provide RSVP and guest-management functionality.
Guest information may be retained for a period determined by the applicable Package and House of Weddings' data-retention practices.
Where an Account or Wedding is deleted, associated information may be removed, anonymised, archived, or retained for a limited period where necessary for legitimate business, legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.
The applicable retention period may be communicated to the user during account deletion or through the Service.
11. MONETARY GIFTS
House of Weddings provides a digital facility through which Guests may send monetary Gifts to a Couple.
House of Weddings does not accept or process physical gifts through the Service.
Monetary Gifts may be processed through third-party payment providers and payment infrastructure.
Available payment methods and payment providers may change from time to time.
The Service may support methods including mobile-money services, debit cards, credit cards, and other payment methods made available through supported payment providers.
The minimum monetary Gift amount may be GHS 10, unless otherwise stated through the Service.
There is no fixed maximum Gift amount imposed by House of Weddings, although payment providers, banks, mobile-money operators, applicable law, or security controls may impose transaction limits.
12. GIFT FEES AND PAYMENT CHARGES
Transaction and withdrawal charges may apply to monetary Gifts.
Depending on the payment method, transaction and settlement structure, applicable provider, transaction type, and other circumstances, charges may be borne by the Guest, the Couple, deducted from the relevant transaction, or otherwise applied as disclosed through the Service.
House of Weddings may also be subject to charges imposed by payment providers, financial institutions, telecommunications providers, card networks, or other service providers.
Applicable taxes, statutory deductions, and legally required charges may also be deducted.
Displayed fees may change from time to time.
The applicable fees presented at the time of a transaction will generally govern that transaction.
13. GIFT ANONYMITY AND GIFT MESSAGES
Guests may have the option to send a monetary Gift anonymously.
Guests may also attach a message to a Gift where the functionality is available.
Gift amounts are not intended to be publicly displayed.
Gift information may be made available to the Couple or authorised Wedding administrators through the relevant Wedding Account.
House of Weddings may retain transaction records as required for payment processing, security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
14. GIFT WITHDRAWALS AND SETTLEMENT
Eligible Couples may request withdrawal of available Gift funds through the withdrawal functionality provided by House of Weddings.
Withdrawals may be subject to minimum withdrawal thresholds, verification requirements, payment-provider requirements, transaction limits, taxes, statutory deductions, and applicable fees.
Withdrawal availability may depend on the payment provider and payment method.
House of Weddings may require verification before processing a withdrawal, including verification of:
identity;
mobile-money information;
bank information;
telephone number;
OTP;
payment account;
transaction history; or
other information reasonably required for security and compliance.
House of Weddings may delay, hold, restrict, reject, freeze, or cancel a withdrawal where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unauthorised transactions, security concerns, payment reversals, compliance matters, incorrect information, or other irregularities.
15. INCORRECT PAYMENT INFORMATION
You are responsible for providing accurate withdrawal and payment information.
Where a Couple supplies incorrect or incomplete payment information and that error results in a loss, failed transaction, additional charge, reversal, delay, or other financial consequence, the Couple may be responsible for the resulting cost to the extent permitted by applicable law.
House of Weddings may use OTP, account verification, name matching, payment-provider verification, and other safeguards to reduce the likelihood of incorrect payment information.
Verification does not constitute an absolute guarantee that payment information is correct.
16. PAYMENT REVERSALS, CHARGEBACKS AND FRAUD
Payments may be subject to reversal, dispute, chargeback, fraud investigation, or other payment-provider action.
Where a Gift has been reversed or a payment provider subsequently requires recovery of funds, the Couple may be responsible for the amount owed, together with applicable charges, to the extent permitted by law.
House of Weddings may deduct amounts owed from available balances or future amounts otherwise payable to the relevant Couple where permitted.
Where a transaction is reasonably suspected to involve fraud, unauthorised use, money laundering, unlawful activity, or another serious irregularity, House of Weddings may suspend the relevant transaction or Account while investigating.
17. NON-REFUNDABILITY OF GIFTS
Monetary Gifts are generally non-refundable through House of Weddings.
A Couple may request that a Gift be refunded to a Guest, but submitting a refund request does not guarantee that the refund will be processed.
A refund may depend on:
the payment provider;
whether the funds remain available;
applicable transaction restrictions;
fraud or security investigations;
payment-provider rules;
applicable law; and
other circumstances.
Where a refund, reversal, or recovery causes a financial loss or additional charge attributable to the Couple, the Couple may bear the applicable cost to the extent permitted by law.
18. PAID WEDDING PACKAGES
House of Weddings may offer free and paid Packages.
Package features, pricing, limitations, and availability will be displayed through the House of Weddings website or Service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, paid Packages are purchased on a one-time payment basis and do not automatically renew.
Purchasing a Package does not transfer ownership of House of Weddings software, systems, templates, designs, intellectual property, or technology to the purchaser.
19. PACKAGE PURCHASES AND REFUNDS
Package purchases are generally non-refundable.
Once a Package has been purchased, the purchase cannot ordinarily be cancelled through the Service.
A user may contact House of Weddings if there is a genuine billing or service issue.
Any refund, credit, or other adjustment granted by House of Weddings is discretionary unless applicable law requires otherwise.
No partial-period refund will ordinarily be provided.
20. PACKAGE EXPIRATION AND RETENTION
Access to features, storage, Wedding content, RSVP functionality, and other resources may depend on the Package selected.
When a Package expires, certain features may become unavailable.
House of Weddings may retain relevant information for a period specified by its applicable retention practices.
Where deletion is requested or required, information may first be placed into a deletion or retention period before permanent deletion.
Certain information may be retained for longer where required or permitted by law, including information necessary for fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims, security, regulatory compliance, or dispute resolution.
The applicable retention information may be communicated to users through the Service.
21. VENDOR DIRECTORY
House of Weddings may provide a directory or presentation of wedding-related Vendors.
Vendors may include photographers, caterers, planners, decorators, venues, designers, and other wedding service providers.
House of Weddings may independently review and verify Vendors before placing them on the platform.
However, verification does not constitute an unlimited guarantee, certification, insurance policy, warranty, or guarantee of future performance.
Vendor information, pricing, availability, and service quality may change.
House of Weddings may control Vendor listings, information, presentation, and placement on the platform.
Vendors may not necessarily have independent administrative access to manage or modify their House of Weddings listings.
22. VENDOR TRANSACTIONS
Unless expressly stated otherwise, any contract for services between a Couple and a Vendor is between those parties.
House of Weddings is not automatically a party to a contract between a Couple and Vendor.
House of Weddings does not guarantee:
Vendor performance;
Vendor availability;
service quality;
pricing;
delivery;
suitability;
safety;
licensing;
insurance; or
the outcome of a Vendor engagement.
Where House of Weddings introduces additional Vendor booking or payment functionality, additional terms may apply.
23. EXTERNAL LINKS
Users may be able to share external links through certain parts of the Service.
Users must not use House of Weddings to distribute malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful links.
Users should not share passwords, authentication tokens, private access links, credentials, or other sensitive access information.
Where a user voluntarily shares such information and another person uses it, the user assumes responsibility for the consequences to the extent permitted by law.
House of Weddings may block or restrict links that it considers unsafe, malicious, deceptive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the Service.
House of Weddings is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of external websites.
24. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
House of Weddings may integrate with or depend on third-party services, including payment providers, communication services, identity providers, analytics systems, hosting infrastructure, mapping services, technology providers, and other external services.
Third-party services may change, become unavailable, impose limitations, experience outages, change their pricing, or modify their terms.
House of Weddings does not control all third-party services and cannot guarantee their continued availability or operation.
Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's separate terms and privacy policies.
House of Weddings may change, replace, add, or remove third-party providers at any time.
For security and operational reasons, House of Weddings is not required to publicly disclose every technology provider, infrastructure provider, or internal security service used to operate the platform.
25. COMMUNICATIONS
House of Weddings may communicate with users through email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-platform notifications, telephone, push notifications, or other communication channels.
Communications may include:
account verification;
OTPs;

Essential service and security communications may continue even where a user has opted out of marketing communications.
26. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND AUTOMATED FEATURES
House of Weddings may use artificial intelligence, machine-learning systems, or automated technologies to provide, improve, or support features of the Service.
AI-enabled features may assist with content creation, recommendations, formatting, design, customer support, analysis, personalisation, moderation, or other functions.
AI-generated or AI-assisted information may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or unintended results.
Users remain responsible for reviewing content before publishing, distributing, relying upon, or acting upon it.
House of Weddings does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, unique, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from errors.
House of Weddings may use third-party AI and technology providers where necessary to operate particular features.
Specific information about processing of personal information in connection with AI features will be addressed in the Privacy Policy and applicable notices.

We may take action without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, payment systems, or third parties.
We are not required to monitor all content and do not guarantee that prohibited content will always be detected.
29. FRAUD AND SECURITY INVESTIGATIONS

hold funds;
restrict withdrawals;
request additional verification;

An investigation does not constitute a determination of wrongdoing.
30. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
House of Weddings may suspend or terminate an Account where reasonably necessary, including where:
the user violates these Terms;
the user engages in fraud;
the user provides materially false information;
the Account creates a security risk;
payment activity appears suspicious;
the user infringes intellectual-property rights;
the user engages in unlawful conduct;
the user abuses the platform;
required verification cannot be completed; or
termination is otherwise necessary to protect House of Weddings, its users, or third parties.
Where practical, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
However, we may suspend access immediately where delay could create security, financial, legal, or other significant risk.
31. ACCOUNT DELETION

Account deletion may not result in immediate destruction of every record.
Certain information may be retained temporarily or permanently where necessary for:
legal compliance;

protection of the rights of House of Weddings or third parties.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted payment processing.
A successful initiation of a payment does not necessarily mean that final settlement has occurred.
Funds may be delayed, reviewed, reversed, restricted, or otherwise affected by payment-provider processes, security procedures, applicable law, or circumstances outside our control.
Users are responsible for complying with applicable tax obligations relating to money they receive.
35. PRIVACY

any other failure, delay, restriction, or action of a third-party financial or payment service.
Where a payment is subsequently reversed, charged back, disputed, determined to be fraudulent, or otherwise invalidated, the Company may recover or deduct the relevant amount, together with applicable charges or costs, from the recipient or otherwise take reasonable measures to recover the amount.
48.6 Incorrect Information and User Instructions
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide to House of Weddings is accurate, complete, current, and authorised.
The Company shall not be liable for loss resulting from information, instructions, account details, payment details, mobile-money numbers, bank details, email addresses, telephone numbers, Wedding Page information, guest information, or other data that you provide incorrectly, incompletely, or without proper authority.
Where the Service requires you to review or confirm information before submitting, publishing, sending, withdrawing, or otherwise acting upon it, you are responsible for reviewing that information before proceeding.
48.7 User Content
You are solely responsible for content that you upload, submit, publish, distribute, or otherwise make available through the Service, including photographs, videos, text, messages, guest information, wedding details, links, documents, and other materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for loss or damage resulting from:
your content being inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unlawful, or misleading;
another person copying, downloading, viewing, redistributing, or otherwise using content that you make available;
unauthorised access to content caused by circumstances outside the Company's reasonable control;
content being removed, restricted, corrupted, lost, delayed, or unavailable;
disputes concerning ownership, consent, privacy, publicity rights, copyright, trademarks, or other rights in user-submitted content; or
your failure to obtain the necessary permissions, licences, consents, or authorisations relating to content you submit.
48.8 Accounts and Credentials
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
The Company shall not be liable for loss resulting from your disclosure of credentials, use of insecure passwords, failure to enable available security measures, sharing of account access, failure to secure your devices, or unauthorised access caused by your acts or omissions.
Where multiple persons are authorised to administer a Wedding Page, you acknowledge that the Company may reasonably treat actions taken through an authorised administrative account as actions of the authorised account holder and, where applicable, the Couple.
48.9 External Links and Third-Party Services
The Service may contain or permit links to websites, applications, payment services, social-media services, communication services, maps, analytics services, artificial-intelligence services, hosting providers, or other third-party services.
The Company does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, accuracy, privacy practices, content, products, services, or conduct of third parties.
Your use of third-party services is subject to the relevant third party's terms, policies, and requirements.
48.10 AI-Assisted Features
House of Weddings may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to provide certain features, including content assistance, recommendations, moderation, categorisation, search, support, analysis, or other functionality.
AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, inappropriate suggestions, or other inaccuracies. Such outputs are provided as assistance and should be reviewed by you before being relied upon, published, communicated, or acted upon.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated or AI-assisted output.
48.11 Service Availability and Technical Failures
The Company does not guarantee that the Service will be continuously available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, network, operating system, or third-party service.
The Service may be temporarily unavailable or restricted due to maintenance, upgrades, security measures, technical failures, hosting failures, telecommunications problems, cyber incidents, third-party failures, regulatory requirements, emergencies, or other circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for loss resulting from such interruption, unavailability, delay, degradation, suspension, or failure.
48.12 Security Incidents
The Company will implement reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect the Service and information processed through it. However, no internet-based service, electronic storage system, communication network, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for loss arising from unauthorised access, cyberattacks, malware, phishing, denial-of-service attacks, data breaches, system compromise, interception, or other security incidents, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
48.13 Deletion, Suspension, and Loss of Content
The Company may suspend, restrict, remove, modify, or terminate accounts, Wedding Pages, content, features, or access in accordance with these Terms.
The Company shall not be liable for loss resulting from the deletion, suspension, restriction, modification, expiration, or unavailability of an account, Wedding Page, or content where such action is permitted under these Terms or required by law.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important content where appropriate.
48.14 Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay, failure, interruption, or inability to perform its obligations where caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic or pandemic events, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, regulatory changes, labour disputes, power failures, telecommunications failures, internet failures, cyberattacks, infrastructure failures, payment-network failures, hosting failures, or failures of third-party service providers.
48.15 No Liability for User-to-User Disputes
House of Weddings is not responsible for disputes between users, including disputes between couples, guests, wedding administrators, vendors, or other persons using the Service.
The Company may, where appropriate, assist with investigations, restrict accounts, remove content, or provide information where legally permitted or required, but is not required to resolve private disputes or act as an arbitrator, mediator, insurer, guarantor, or legal representative for any user.
48.16 User's Responsibility to Mitigate Loss
You agree to take reasonable steps to prevent or minimise any loss or damage that may arise from your use of the Service, including maintaining secure credentials, reviewing transaction details, verifying payment information, maintaining copies of important content, and promptly notifying the Company of suspected unauthorised activity or security incidents.
48.17 Statutory Rights and Non-Excludable Liability
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any liability, right, remedy, warranty, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited under applicable law.
Where applicable law does not permit a particular limitation or exclusion, that limitation or exclusion shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions of this Section shall continue in full force and effect.
48.18 No Fixed Liability Cap
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the Company does not voluntarily agree to a fixed monetary cap on liability under these Terms. Instead, liability is excluded or limited according to the specific exclusions and limitations set out in this Section and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
48.19 Scope of Protection
The protections, exclusions, disclaimers, and limitations contained in this Section apply to all claims, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, statutory duty, restitution, warranty, misrepresentation, strict liability, or any other legal theory, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
They also apply to claims arising directly or indirectly from the Service, including claims concerning accounts, Wedding Pages, content, RSVPs, Gifts, withdrawals, vendors, third-party services, communications, AI-assisted features, security incidents, service interruptions, or termination.
48.20 Continuing Effect
This Section 48 shall survive the suspension, termination, deletion, expiration, or discontinuation of your account, Wedding Page, or use of the Service to the extent necessary to give effect to its purpose.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
